The Bigger and Better event in Leeds is run by the local autism organisations. They gather every year to spread awareness, discuss important topics and exhibit new and wonderful things all autism.

The Girl with the Curly Hair Project was created by Alis Rowe to help educate and help families, individuals and professionals. Its aim is to create awareness, and acceptance, of autism.

The National Autistic Society's Autism and Mental Health Conference will be held in Leeds this year and will be revolved around autistic children and adults who suffer from mental health issues.
